Next Generation of Communication

With our latest TRIGGI®NFC, the shopping cart release device with near field communication, you can immerse yourself in digital communication paired with an everyday object—the modern shopping chip.

By integrating an NFC chip into TRIGGI®NFC, we have succeeded in offering you a wide range of options for interacting with your customers.

Whether as a key retrieval service, transmission of current offers, or product information, the possibilities with the new high-tech standard NFC are endless—only your imagination is the limit, and that’s already starting at 300 pieces.

TRIGGI®4.0 vs. TRIGGI®NFC

We distinguish between two TRIGGI®NFC models.

What exactly is the difference?

The TRIGGI®4.0 is equipped with a database connection (e.g., for a lost key service).

The TRIGGI®NFC, on the other hand, allows you to take full advantage of digital NFC technology.

TRIGGI®4.0

Shopping cart release with lost key service

As with TRIGGI®plus, the “analog” TRIGGI® with key retrieval service by mail, TRIGGI®4.0 is the digital version. It is an easy-to-use, real-time, anonymous lost property system. Communication between the finder and the owner takes place via smartphone. If the owner loses their TRIGGI®4.0, the finder can communicate directly with the owner (customer). The finder “beams” themselves to the finder page via NFC and/or “scans” themselves via QR code and informs the owner that their key has been found. The contact details remain anonymous to the finder. The lost item can then be returned within minutes.

But there is another decisive advantage to this ingenious technology. You place your logo or advertising message on the TRIGGI®4.0 and also have the opportunity to communicate with your customers. When customers touch the NFC area with their smartphone, they can view your information and offers.

This is how the TRIGGI®4.0 comes to you

As with TRIGGI® and TRIGGI®plus, TRIGGI®4.0 is also supplied with a paper carrier card. This is printed on four sides and contains detailed instructions on how to register with the lost property service on the inside pages.

Of course, you can design the card as you wish, as usual.

For other NFC functions, the paper card will be adjusted accordingly.

The enhancement of an ingenious advertising medium

In addition to haptic advertising, customers can use NFC technology to draw further attention to themselves, their services, and/or their products. NFC tags contain a freely configurable microchip, opening up a wide range of possibilities in terms of near field communication. They can store a small amount of data, e.g., a link to a landing page or a special offer page. This data can then be easily read by a cell phone or other NFC device.

When the cell phone is moved close to the NFC tag (TRIGGI®NFC), additional information about current offers, products, or instructions can be transferred to the smartphone easily and quickly. However, much more is possible with freely programmable NFC tags.

What is NFC?

NFC stands for “Near Field Communication” Companies such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, Nokia, and many others are involved in the development of this smart transmission standard. Most current smartphones already have an NFC chip built in.

The special feature of NFC is that wireless data exchange for communication between two elements can only take place over short distances. To do this, the mobile device only needs to have NFC enabled in its settings. NFC offers a fast, simple, and secure way to transfer data without posing a major security risk. NFC is intended for transferring small amounts of data.

Depending on the type of NFC data, the smartphone launches the corresponding application (app), activates certain settings on the smartphone, or connects to a landing page.

How secure is NFC?

The special feature of NFC is that transmission only takes place within a small range of a few centimeters. This results in the biggest advantage of NFC: it is extremely secure against external “eavesdropping.” The NFC chip has no access to the data stored on the device.
