REACH is an EU regulation. It stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, and thus for the assessment of their effects on health and the environment. The regulation requires the exchange of information on so-called substances of very high concern (SVHCs) contained in articles. In accordance with Article 59 of REACh, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) publishes a list of these SVHCs. It is regularly updated and can be accessed via the following link: https://echa.europa.eu/candidate-list-table.
Consumers must be able to obtain information on request. This means that every customer is entitled to ask whether the product they have purchased contains a substance of very high concern (SVHC). This is a legal requirement under Article 33 of the REACH Regulation.
Risk assessment in collaboration with DEKRA
Our aim is to gradually replace materials of concern with harmless alternatives. To this end, TRIGGI® (company: Pins & mehr GmbH & Co. KG) has developed a risk assessment system (a management system for compliance with REACH) in collaboration with the testing institute DEKRA, in order to provide you with the relevant information. We have received the certificate confirming compliance with the legal requirements under Article 33 of the REACH Regulation and can therefore offer you legal certainty regarding this complex issue.
As an upstream manufacturer, we provide you, as a downstream user, with certainty and fulfil our duty to provide information within the supply chain and to the consumer. We inform you about the ingredients that may be contained in our product, based on DEKRA’s database and our product data sheets. However, these do not reflect the actual content in the specified quantities. This can only be determined with complete accuracy by means of an individual test for your product.
